Eric D. Schwerin
Government Relations International Trade and Business Development A partner at Oldaker, Biden & Belair, Mr. Schwerin has developed a wide range of expertise in international trade and international business development throughout his career and currently focuses on trade and technology issues. He held a number of positions in the executive branch, including Senior Policy Advisor for International Trade to Secretaries of Commerce in both the Clinton and Bush Administrations, and White House Director of Business Liaison in the Clinton Administration. He has developed trade policy and devised and implemented strategies for international business development and passage of key pieces of recent trade legislation. While with the U.S. Government, Mr. Schwerin planned, coordinated and participated in a number of trade and policy missions to Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East for the Secretary of Commerce and the President. Mr. Schwerin is also a member of the Board of Advisors for the Institute for Ethical Awareness.
