Phu Huynh
Election, Lobbying and Government Ethics Law Phu Huynh manages the firm's election law clients and guides tax-exempt clients, political action committees and campaign committees on governance and control concerns and election law issues. He manages processes to satisfy federal, state and local tax issues and regulatory requirements and generate required reports and other filings with regulatory entities such as the Federal Election Commission, IRS and state authorities. Prior to joining Oldaker, Belair & Wittie, Mr. Huynh held several prominent positions in the executive branch in the Clinton Administration, including Advisor to the Board of Directors at the Export-Import Bank of the United States and Senior Advisor and Director of Information Systems in the White House Office of Presidential Personnel. As advisor to the Export-Import Bank board, he evaluated and recommended international finance initiatives and project finance solutions for energy and infrastructure matters, including developing, structuring and restructuring most types of international energy and infrastructure projects. During his tenure at the White House, he developed a thorough knowledge of the presidential appointment process, including the vetting and confirmation processes, and developed technical and legal expertise on every presidential appointment. Mr. Huynh also served on General Wesley K. Clark's presidential campaign, where he served as deputy to the President and Treasurer.
