Mr. Biden is a founding partner of Oldaker, Biden & Belair, LLP. Following his graduation from Georgetown University, he served in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. In addition, Mr. Biden has previously served as a Senior Vice President at a major financial services firm and more recently was a Presidential appointee at the U.S. Department of Commerce, where he served as the Executive Director for e-Commerce Policy Coordination under Secretaries Daley and Mineta. While with the Administration he also participated in a number of international business development and policy missions to Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
On May 16, 2006, Mr. Biden was nominated by President Bush to be a Member of the Amtrak Reform Board (Amtrak Board of Directors). He was unanimously confirmed by the Senate on July 26, 2006 for a five-year term, and is currently Vice-Chair of the Board. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Prostate Cancer Coalition. Mr. Biden is married and has three daughters, Naomi, Finnegan and Maisy.
